General Women's Health Education and Preventative Screening Recommendations:
ACOG (The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists): maintains regularly updated clinical practice guidelines, committee opinions, and patient-facing educational materials across the full lifespan of women's health.
WPSI / Women's Preventive Services Initiative: A national coalition of 21 professional organizations that develops, reviews, and updates evidence-based clinical recommendations for women's preventive health care. Their Well-Woman Chart is a central, clinically useful reference for screening, risk assessment, and counseling recommendations.
USPSTF: The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force is an independent, volunteer panel of national experts that issues evidence-graded (A/B/C/D/I) recommendations for preventive services.
AAFP (The American Academy of Family Physicians): The American Academy of Family Physicians publishes regularly updated clinical reviews on women's health maintenance, including reproductive-age and postmenopausal care, with evidence-based screening and counseling recommendations.
NIH Office of Research on Women's Health: While NIH is a federal entity, the ORWH specifically funds and coordinates women's health research and provides research-based educational content. The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine recently recommended expanding this office into a dedicated Women's Health Research Institute.

Planned Parenthood: Medically reviewed, plain-language reproductive health education.
PCOS/PMOS:
AskPCOS: international evidence-based resource developed through a collaboration of leading medical organizations to translate the International Evidence-Based Guidelines for the Assessment and Management of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome into accessible information for patients, clinicians, and researchers. These guidelines were developed through a rigorous process involving systematic reviews and represent the most comprehensive, globally endorsed clinical guidance on PCOS.
Maternal Health and Pregnancy Education:
Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine: For high-risk obstetric and maternal health topics, SMFM publishes evidence-based consult series and clinical guidelines.
March of Dimes: Evidence-based maternal and infant health education.
MotherToBaby: A service of the Organization of Teratology Information Specialists (OTIS), providing evidence-based information on medication and environmental exposure safety during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Postpartum Care and Support
Postpartum Support International: the leading organization for perinatal mental health, with a helpline, support groups, provider directory, and education on postpartum depression, anxiety, and psychosis.

La Leche League International : For breastfeeding/lactation support and education.
Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine: Clinical protocols and patient resources from the leading physician organization for breastfeeding medicine.
Perimenopause and Menopause:
The North American Menopause Society / Menopause Society: The leading nonprofit organization dedicated to menopause and midlife women's health, with regularly updated position statements and patient resources.
MyMenoPlan: An NIH-funded, evidence-based decision-support website specifically designed to help women understand and manage the menopause transition.
Breast Cancer
American Cancer Society: Comprehensive, regularly updated information on breast cancer screening, diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship. Includes educational booklets and support programs.
Breastcancer.org: Physician-reviewed, nonprofit resource with detailed information on every stage of breast cancer, treatment options, and community forums.
Cancer.Net: ASCO's patient-facing website with oncologist-reviewed content on all cancer types, including breast cancer, with podcasts, videos, and decision-making tools.
Gynecologic Cancers
Foundation for Women's Cancer: the official patient education arm of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology (SGO), covering uterine, ovarian, cervical, vulvar, and vaginal cancers.
Cancer.Net / ASCO: Oncologist-reviewed content for each gynecologic cancer type.
Adolescent and Teen Health
GirlsInc: Empowerment-focused programming for girls, including health education.
AAP HealthyChildren.org : The American Academy of Pediatrics' patient-facing site with sections on puberty, menstruation, and adolescent health.
